Boys Trip 2014

Here are my recollections and pics from Boys Trip 2014.  A year and a half later.  We did a four nighter this time.  Two nights in a cabin in southwest Oregon, one night in the Redwoods, and a night campaign near the Caves monument.

Our first couple nights were in a forestry cabin in southwest Oregon.  We picked one close to a couple fishing holes.

Next we headed to the Redwoods for a night.  We spend the night in Jedediah Smith State Park.  We went on a little adventure looking for some huge Redwoods.  There is an area in the Redwoods called the Grove of Titans, where some mammoth Redwood trees reside.  It's off the beaten trail and requires some clue following from various sources on the internet and in books.  We found the Grove!  Or at least a couple of the Titans.  Here are a few pics from our adventure.

After the Redwoods, we headed back to Oregon to visit Oregon Caves National Monument.  We stayed at a campground nearby.  Here are a few pics from the caves.

Boys Trip 2014 was a blast.  We loved fishing, building fires, eating smores, trying a sip of beer, searching for the titans, and exploring the cave.
